Charlie Chaplin - Words Matter - AW00512
This piece is based on a conversation we had with a fan of ours who wanted to see a take on Charlie Chaplin. He was not a man of many words but I wanted to bring across the power of not saying much BUT when you do, it really can mean a lot! Call it a case of “less is more”. The different sentences spilling out of his head are all parts of his famous speech from the movie “The Great Dictator” in which he actually spoke and portrayed Hitler. His message was quite different than the one of the real Hitler and thus the gun alongside the words represents following: Out of such violence comes something that is more powerful and uplifting then any weaponry. Love and Togetherness as one people, because when used this way, “Wordz Matter!”
